Gorilant is aware that as well as improving the lives and health of thousands of people in the world, it is committed to minimising its environmental impact, which is why in our Supplier Code of Ethics we only work with suppliers that meet the following certification requirements.

PEFC guarantees consumers that they are buying products from sustainably managed forests. By choosing PEFC, buyers can help combat illegal logging and promote the key functions that forest resources play. Ensure that the world's forests are managed responsibly, and that their multitude of functions are protected for present and future generations.

When timber is harvested from an FSC certified forest, we ensure that companies along the supply chain meet best practice standards, so that when a product carries the FSC logo, you can be sure that it has been made from sustainable sources.

It avoids abusive malpractice by timber harvesting companies as it has to pass all FSC standards.

FSC members include some of the world's leading environmental groups (WWF and Greenpeace1), social organisations (the National Aboriginal Forestry Association of Canada), companies (Tetra Pak and Mondi PLC) and forest owners and managers, processing companies, activists and individuals like you.
